Beijing (PingWest)—July 11, Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), a subsidiary of Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), appoints Elaine Chang as AWS Global Vice President and AWS China Executive Director. Currently, Chang serves as Vice President of Amazon and President of Amazon China.

Chang will report directly to AWS CEO Andy Jassy, overseeing AWS operations across Greater China, including sales, marketing and engineering.

Alex Yung, current AWS Global Vice President and AWS China Executive Director, will assume a new position and lead AWS to expand into new markets.
