Trip.com Group unveiled its vision for the future of travel at its Envision 2023 conference. James Liang, Chairman of Trip.com Group, said the Group is committed to improving the travel experience and continues to actively cooperate with partners across hotels, airlines, holidays, and attractions, supporting their efforts to serve Chinese travelers who are among the top spenders in various countries worldwide.
In 2019, Chinese visitors accounted for 15% of foreign expenditure; post-pandemic, that proportion is expected to skyrocket.
Trip.com Group CEO Jane Sun said the Group has strengthened technological capabilities such as BOSS Live streaming sessions, updates to the worldwide airfare capabilities, and the debut of TripGenie, the AI-enpowered travel helper.
In terms of sustainability, the company's senior leadership investigated comprehensive ESG initiatives as well as the industry's approach to sustainability.=
