Civi 3 is the latest addition to Xiaomi's stylish phone line

Chinese smartphone giant, Xiaomi, has just unveiled their latest update to its stylish series, the Civi 3 on Thursday. The new series has added a new sibling color scheme to its back case.

The phone boasts a slender body width of 71.7mm and a thinness of 7.56mm, weighing only 173.5g making it highly portable. It is equipped with a 4500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.

The device also comes with a 6.55-inch 120Hz display with a peak brightness of 1500 nit and is integrated with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor.

In addition, Xiaomi has developed a dual front camera system specifically optimized for selfies and vlogs, with an aperture of F2 and a resolution of 32 megapixels (MP).

It also has a triple rear camera system with the main one featuring a 50 MP resolution.

Xiaomi has claimed that the Civi 3 offers various advanced features such as a prompter, auto-generation of captions, and a more natural beautification algorithm than its competitors.

Moreover, the Xiaomi Civi 3 comes with a memory combination of up to 16 GB RAM plus 1 TB of storage. It is also available in five distinct colors, including a special edition co-branded with Disney's classic character, Mickey Mouse.

The phone is currently open for pre-order and will be available from May 31 at a starting price of 2,499 RMB ($353.55). The top memory version will be released later on June 13.

Xiaomi is the third largest smartphone vendor globally, taking up 11.4% of the market in the first quarter of 2023, IDC’s data showed.

The firm posted an 18.9% decline in its revenue for the first quarter of 2023, due to the continuing weakening market demands on Wednesday.
