Beijing (PingWest) – As of January 2019, female mobile internet users accounted for 530 million of China's total online population, with 6.7% growth year-on-year, based on a survey by Questmobile, a professional business intelligence services provider in China’s mobile internet market.
Millennials (those of the so-called 80s and 90s generations) contributed to more than half of the total mobile internet population, with a number of 381 million. Among them, those born in the 90s have the highest monthly usage time, up to 137 hours per month at a rate of increase of 14.3% year-on-year.
