Hong Kong (PingWest) – Chinese Internet giant Tencent Holdings Ltd. Thursday announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and FY 2018 ended on December 31, reporting revenue of $12.69 billion (84.9 billion RMB) in Q4 with an increase of 28% year-on-year.

However, the profit attributable to equity holders was much less than that in Q4 2017, reaching only $2.13 billion (14.23 billion RMB), down 32% year-on-year.

For the whole of FY 2018, Tencent’s revenue was up 32% year-on-year to $46.73 (312.69 billion RMB), and its net income up 10% year-on-year to $11.95 billion (79.98 billion RMB).
