BEIJING (PingWest) — Xiaomi recently announced that Redmi 7 will launch in China following its unexpected initial release in the India market alongside Note 7 Pro. The company set the launch date for next Monday, March 18th.
Currently under this branding, there are three phones including Redmi Note 7, Note 7 Pro, and entry-level Redmi Go. There are leaks and rumors that Redmi 7 will be a completely new product. Its special features are to include rear fingerprint scanner and dual cameras of 12MP+5MP, with a front camera of 800 megapixels. In addition, will be powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 632 chipset. Redmi 7 is available in eight colors for customers to choose from.
Lei Jun, CEO and founder of Xiaomi, also revealed on Weibo that the model will be priced between 700–800 RMB, and that Xiaomi has readied a large amount of market stock.
