Alibaba Partners with NBA China in Content Broadcasting and Shopping Experiences

BEIJING (PingWest) – NBA China and Alibaba jointly announced a partnership, saying that Alibaba will offer platforms for NBA content broadcasting along with an easy way for NBA fans to buy league gear and other NBA products.

Alibaba will launch an “NBA Section” on its shopping platforms Taobao and Tmall, along with video and streaming service platform Youku. Users will enjoy personalized content based on big data analysis.

The partnership is part of Alibaba’s “A100” program, which offers companies solutions for their digital transformation.
