Byton to Tap Into High-End Car-Hailing Business in the Future

Beijing (PingWest)—Dai Lei, founder and CEO of Byton, a Chinese electric carmaker, said on October 7 that in the future the company will tap into the high-end car-hailing market, "Byton's face recognition system is very suitable for car-hailing business," he said.

He also declared that the company may cooperate with a large European car rental company.

M-Byte, the premium smart electric SUV created by Byton, has accumulated more than 50,000 booking orders worldwide, half of which are from China and the rest from the European and the U.S.
