AI Startup InfiMind Raised USD14 million In Sequoia-Led Series A Round

Beijing (PingWest)- InfiMind, a Chinese artificial intelligence (AI) start up focusing on fashion and retail industries, has raised USD14 million from investors led by Sequoia Capital China.

The company will use the fresh capital to develop new products and upgrade existing products.

Founded in 2017 by Wu Bin, InfiMind’s key technologies including clothing recognition, labeling, and smart recommendations, have been used by Chinese major e-commerce firms such as JD.com and social e-commerce unicorn Xiaohongshu, according to infiMind’s official website.

By leveraging image recognition technologies, InfiMind’s key products dubbed ECPro can help clothing vendors to automatically generate idem description with both text information and photos, greatly improved working efficiency and saving human resources costs.
