Beijing (PingWest)- China’s largest search engine Baidu has investment CNY1.44 billion into Neusoft Holding, a Chinese leading IT solution& service provider. Neusoft Corporation, Neusoft Holding’s listed unit, is China’s first software developer that was listed in the country’s main stock exchange.
Under the cooperation agreement, Baidu and Neusoft Holding will cooperate in areas including smart city development, education, and medical care.
In addition to Neusoft Corporation, Neusoft Holding also own Neusoft Medical, which has primary interest in manufacturing medical equipment and providing medical services.
Most recently, Baidu has acquired a stake in Quora-like Q&A platform Zhihu.
