Vigo Video to Be Merged Into TikTok

Beijing (PingWest)—According to Chinese tech media the LatePost, Vigo Video, the live-streaming app released by TikTok's parent company BytedDance, will be merged into TikTok in the near future. Currently, Alex Zhu, co-founder of is responsible for TikTok, meanwhile, the company's Snapchat-style app Duoshan will be under his control.

Vigo Video was launched in 2017, and in the same year, TikTok was rolled out in India.

Bytedance bought for up to $1 billion in 2017.
