BEIJING (PingWest) - Xiaomi smartphone market share in Europe surged 48% for Q2 2019, being the fastest-growing smartphone maker. The smartphone vendor crossed 9.6% market share, ranking the fourth.
Samsung topped the ranking with a 40.6% market share. Huawei remained the second spot, but its total shipment dropped 16% yoy to 18.8%. Analysts say this is due to Huawei’s political issue.
Apple came in the third, but suffered a 17% drop to 14%, because there is no new iPhone released in the second quarter, 2019.
