BEIJING (PingWest) - Huawei will be launching its 5G services in South Africa. The Chinese tech giant has formed partnerships with 51 countries to deploy 5G networks in these countries.

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa backed Huawei by saying that “Telecom companies got together and wrote me a letter saying that this tussle between the US and China around the company called Huawei is going to hurt us because we can’t go to 5G and only Huawei can lead us to 5G.
