BEIJING (PingWest) — QQ users can now delete their unwanted accounts through settings on their phones and computers. Once deleted, they will not be able to recover their account.
To avoid identity theft, users will have to delete QQ payment and its related bindings with other apps in order to complete the process.
According to Tencent’s latest fiscal report, QQ's monthly active users were 8.02 billion, showing a 4.8% year-on-year drop.
